So hello again! I'm Aurelija - a Lithuanian Audiovisual Communication graduate currently living in the sunny and vibrant city of Barcelona. I'm glad you would like to know more about my short professional journey.
All my life I was drawn to beauty and aesthetics, from decorating my own room to arranging the food in my plate (somehow it tastes better if it looks good, right?) - it was all about how it looks and feels.
My career started when I chose to study Creative industries in my hometown, Vilnius, Lithuania. In the third year of my studies, I participated in the ERASMUS exchange program and spent a semester in Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain. Besides giving me the best tan of my life, It also, sparked my passion for graphic design, illustration and audiovisual communication in general.
After getting my degree in Communication, I had a chance to work in the Sales and Marketing department of a Real estate development company. It was a very official office job with very specific requirements but gave me very valuable experience about how corporate world looks like. Later, I moved to always busy Istanbul (did you know that Napoleon called it the capital of the world? Well, now you know) in there I was part of an event organization startup, where I was in charge of communicating with international clients and everything visual needed for the events. It was fun and young and dynamic, but it was time to move again... I was gaining way too much weight with all that yummy food around me.
So after studying in Spain, I always wanted to come back and try my chances living there too. So here I am in Barcelona, looking for new challenges and opportunities to get better in my craft and continue learning everyday.
